And I fell, a raindrop
from the mighty depths of the sky's heart
into your outstretched palm.
Your palm that caresses the warm earth everyday,
your palm that rests in the warmth of her bosom -
held me for a while.
And then I trickled down your arm
of hills and vales and ridges ;
until I reached your elbow and you wiped me off.
I met my inglorious end,
in the glory of my journey,
resplendent at the tracks I left
down your ebony arm,
my sweet.
